Da quando ho visto la mostra di Lorenzo Lotto a Roma ho capito che il colorblocking lo avevano già inventato 500 anni fa, mese più mese meno. I contrasti tra i vestiti ed i mantelli delle sue figure sono spettacolari, ed il color apatite li ricorda perfettamente.

When I saw the Lorenzo Lotto exposition in Rome I understood that colorblocking was born 500 years ago, more or less. The contrast between coats and clothes of the saints are terrific! And the apatite stone's color is perfect.
